Pregnancy Counseling – Options Counseling

The La Familia-Namaste caseworker will meet with you regularly to discuss your concerns. The caseworker will keep you informed about available resources and options if you decide to parent. If you decide to plan for an adoption, your caseworker will discuss the adoption process with you.

We feel that counseling will help you adjust to and understand the wide variety of emotions you may have during this time. La Familia-Namaste believes that you have several options to explore. Your caseworker will discuss abortion; adoption, parenting, and family care with you during the counseling process.

Regardless of your decision, you will be provided with referrals to help you follow through with the plan you have created. Counseling is also available to members of your family and the birth father's family. If you feel uncomfortable with La Familia-Namaste's counseling involvement with the birth father or his family, he will be referred to another provider.
