Megan M. Walsh, LISW

Megan M. Walsh, LISW is the Director of Pregnancy Counseling and Adoption Services for La Familia, Inc.

Megan is originally from Snoqualmie, Washington and moved to New Mexico in 1994. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico in Family Studies and Human Services and, in 2001 Megan completed a Master’s degree in Social Work at New Mexico Highlands University. Megan has been with La Familia since 1997.

Throughout her work with La Familia, Megan has been involved with the TAPESTRIES project, Infant Adoption Awareness Training and Morale Committee. She is a member of the New Mexico Adoption Alliance and is a Confidential Intermediary. Megan’s professional interests include cultural awareness training, advocacy and resource development. Two things Megan enjoys about La Familia are the commitment to quality service and the high level of compassion for clients and staff members.
